How the month's spending estimate works
- It adds what you've spent so far, the repeating bills and card installments still due this month, and your everyday spending for the days left.
- Everyday spending is your daily average over the last 30 days. It leaves out bills, card installments, purchases you split and one-off purchases of three times your usual or more, because those don't repeat every day.
- Paying a card or a part of a split purchase isn't counted again: that spending was counted when you bought it.
- On pace to go over budget compares only the categories you've budgeted with those budgets, so rent with no budget can't set it off. It's an estimate, not a promise: the numbers behind it are shown with it.
