Create a budget
- Open the Budgets tab and tap Add budget.
- Pick a category (or subcategory), set the monthly limit and save.
- Turn on carry-over for a budget to move what's left (or overspent) into next month.
- A new budget starts this budget month, so earlier months don't show it. Set Start Month to an earlier month to cover past months too. Start Month and Custom End Month open a month calendar (budgets reset each budget month, so you pick months, not days).
- Ends sets how long it runs: No end date (every month), After one month (a one-time limit for its start month), or Choose end month (pick the last month).
- Changing the limit, currency, carry-over or category of a budget that already ran asks where it applies: From this month keeps earlier months exactly as they were; All months changes them too.
- Delete on a budget with past months offers Stop from this month, which keeps it in the months it ran, with their spending, or Delete from all months.
- Once a budget has ended you can add a new one for the same category, for example with a new limit. Only budgets in the same months clash.
