Auto-detect a transaction's category
- On a new expense or income, type the description. After a moment FinFlow picks the category and subcategory, e.g. "Birthday cake" → Events & Occasions › Cakes & catering, "Salik" → Transport › Tolls, "maid salary" → Home Help › Housemaid. "Auto-detected from the description" shows under Category.
- It uses what you chose before for the same description first, then a category or subcategory named in it, then everyday words and local shops. It only picks categories you have.
- Tap Category to choose another. Once you pick one yourself, typing doesn't change it, and editing a saved transaction keeps its category.
- Turn it off in More > Settings > Experience > Auto-detect category. Quick log, bank alerts, receipts, CSV import (rows without a category) and the PC Manager's transaction form use the same detection.
