Tabby, Tamara and other pay-later purchases
- Add Tabby (or Tamara) as an account: More > Add account > Choose bank or wallet > Tabby. Its type becomes Pay later, which tracks what you owe.
- Record each purchase as an expense on the Tabby account, then tap Split it: on the expense itself, or on the Tabby account > Split purchases, which lists purchases not split yet. Choose how many payments and how often (weekly, every 2 or 4 weeks, monthly, every 2 or 3 months, or Custom: every N days, weeks or months), the first date, and whether the first part was paid at checkout. Irregular dates? Split it, then use Edit date / amount on each payment.
- Payments can come from a bank account, card, cash, e-wallet or custom account in the same currency as Tabby. If one is missing from Paid from, it's in another currency; change Tabby's currency in Edit account if that's wrong.
- The full purchase counts as spending on the day you bought it. Each purchase keeps its own payment dates.
- When you pay a part, open the Tabby account and tap Pay under Next payment (or Pay another for a different part), then choose the bank or card you paid from. That's a transfer, so it isn't counted as spending twice.
- Upcoming parts are set aside in Safe to spend, and with Payment reminders on (Settings) you're reminded before (3 days by default; choose up to 30 in Settings) and on each due date.
