FinFlow

Back up your data

  1. Open More (tap your profile picture on Home), then Backup & restore. It's also in Settings > Backup & restore.
  2. First tap Set backup passcode (at least 6 characters). Every backup is encrypted with it. FinFlow then shows a recovery key once: write it down or save it in a password manager, because it's the only other way to open your backups.
  3. Under Google Drive, connect your Google account. Connecting only grants access and does not create a backup. Tap Back up now to create one, or enable Automatic backup first. Backups go to a "FinFlow Backups" folder you can see in Drive.
  4. Turn on Automatic backup and choose its schedule, or tap Back up now to run a backup immediately. Back up now is an action, not a page. Switch account and Disconnect manage the Drive connection.
  5. No Google account? Under On this phone, tap Save a backup file, or set up Automatic backup to a folder.
  6. While it backs up, a notification with a spinner appears in FinFlow (at the bottom, or the top if you chose that in Settings > Experience), then says Backup complete with what was saved, or why it didn't finish. It's only inside FinFlow, not in your phone's notifications. Scheduled backups run in the background without a notification; their result is on the Backup & restore page.

In the app: Open Backup & restore
